So you guys!! After chatting with a patient like a week ago now, I was re-inspired to get back on the running train. I have always had such a love for running and back in 2014 I believe I started doing 5k, 10k and ran a few 8.20 runs and did this almost monthly until I had my son. Once I had him I just really gave up, like I have barely done anything in the past 5 years. I suffered extreme mom guilt when I was away from him, so I gave up most things I loved and enjoyed doing. Over the past year or two things have really changed because he has changed, he doesn’t need me as much which has given me much more freedom mentally and physically. So I have found a few runs coming in the next couple of months that I have signed up for and need to get ready for but the getting ready has been a struggle.

Truth is I started this post more than 4 weeks ago, went running for a week and quit. At first it was because the time I was going it was just to hot (Florida) like it was making me sick, and then from there it was just easy to keep making that excuse and here we are 3 weeks later and no more runs. It’s just so hard when I get up at 5am for work and dont get home until 1pm, then I have a hour before getting Moses. I’d run at night but then I cant sleep, so I’m like what do I do get up at 4am?? That’s the challenge, when to run? I’m always so exhausted the thought of getting up at 4 makes me want to cry....
So as you can see I’m having a hard time figuring this out. In my heart and soul I want to run but my mind and body have a different idea. Ive done a little research and by research, used the google... Most pages I read said that the ideal time to run is between 4pm-6pm depending on when you eat dinner. So this week, weather permitted (florida showers) I will try running at 4ish pm. I really wish I was better at being a fitness or a health food nut but Im just not.

I guess this is the first day of thirty days. Im going to weigh in tomorrow and do measurements that I will post down below, I have a scale app and a measuring app that are connected to my scale and measuring tape. Also with the Amazon Halo you can do a body scan which I w

ill not post for many reasons... Anyway in 30 days I will do a honest check in, update my measurements and hopefully there will be a change! I want to do this for so many reasons but the main one is to just be healthy, overall health is my goal.... whats yours??
I hope you will join me on this journey of getting fit! lets see what the next thirty days has instore for us!!
