New Year, New Name!!

Hello Friends!! February is the new January right?? So How the heck are you?! It has been way to long. So I thought I would do a little new year post on my goals for the year, some plans for our house and property and also why I changed the blog name. So I dont do resolutions and Im obviously terrible at keeping up with this blog; basically Im a work in progress. So I normally start out my new year, by writing down my goals, now this is something that will look different for everyone but these are mine. First, and this may be the most important one of all, is to give myself GRACE.. now this is something I easily give everyone but myself. I am extremely hard on myself so that is my number one goal, to give myself the same grace I give others. Next comes finances, every day we are on the financial struggle bus and every year we get ourselves (my husband & I) out of debt enough to breath a bit, and then by the end of the year we are back on the bus. So that is a goal we are going to work hard at this year and Ill probably do a blog post on that once Ive figured out more of our plan in detail. My third goal is to be more socially active on my blog IG and here. I really love this space but neglect it terribly. I have a hard time making time for myself, so that is also something I am working on in this new year, is taking me time, making sure my cup is filled before I fill everyone else. I want to take better care of myself mentally and physically. With that being said I have already signed up for my first half marathon which is something I have wanted to do for years and have been to scared, so I start training for that this week. Its been cold here in FL so Im dusting off the good old treadmill to get my runs in. Thankfully diet isnt that much of a challenge for me, I eat pretty healthy and try to eat clean when possible so that wasnt on my list this year, but using a tracking app has helped me watch the carbs thats for sure. I think this is something that I say all the time but I want to honestly its more like I need to purge my entire house. So this is also on my goal list for the year. And to avoid getting overwhelmed I figure just a little bit at a time and really really make sure what we buy is what we need. This will also help in the financial department because that will cut down on unnecessary spending. Im sure as the time goes on I will have more to add to this.

Now we have big plans for our house and our property that Im so freaking excited about!! When we bought our house I really had envisioned having lots of animals and a big garden. Now my husband probably does not share this same vision but thankfully we normally meet in the middle some where. So we already have chickens and dogs, but we are thinking about adding a bunny or two and hopefully in the next year or two; two baby-doll sheep. And lets not forget a 4 car shop for the hubby to work in. I have already started the backyard demo (more like cleanup) and in the next few weeks I hope to have that finished. Then I think the next project will be our bathroom. So many ideas I have for the upcoming months. I will be trying to blog a bit on each project as we go.

Ok so last thing on this post! I have officially changed my blog name and my attached IG, I dont use fb that much so I havent messed with that account as of now but maybe later. So I originally started oils n stuff with the intent to sell oils but its not something Im passionate about, I love my job and worked hard to get where I am and selling oils isnt a thing for me, so I never worked hard on it. I do however love using them and sharing stuff about them and still will have my account for people to join or buy from me if they wish, selling them was just not for me. I love sharing things about our home, diy's, cooking, baking and all things planner. I love gardening and my kids/pets. So I have made this space a sharing space for all the things and then I have me regular IG which is mostly family stuff, that way you can decide if you want to follow one or both :) I love sharing but never want to be annoying :)) So anyway thats all for now, stay tuned for my post on gardening and my yummy cinnamon role recipe I found
