Monster Jam 2021!!

So like two weekends ago we went to Monster Jam 2021 and it was fantastic!! It was just a two day event here in Orlando Fl but they go all over, so if they haven't been to your town or close to it, Im sure they will be. We have gone every year for the past 4 years so we are on the VIP list but I think you can join online either way. This gave us first access and a discount off tickets. Not for nothing but they were very reasonable this year and by reasonable I mean 30$ a pc, and we also had first row seating.

Now I was a bit worried about distance seating and I was super impressed with how Camping World Stadium handled this. You had to buy your tickets as a pod and there was no one even close to us. Once settled in your space, you could take your mask off if your choose, it was almost 90 that day so we took ours off. Being outside and no one was near us, I felt totally fine with that. But to each their own. You have to do what feels right for your family. We have gone to this event for years and this year was very empty, like I doubt the arena was even half full. Plenty of parking and seats, even with the social distancing it was very empty for this type of event.

So this year I felt like there weren’t as many trucks as there normally are but I’m sure that had a lot to do with Covid. So there were 12 different trucks, some we have seen and some we haven’t. I think that all depends on the different dates and states your in, who you may see. I honestly dont think you can go wrong with any of them, They all run through the track basically the same and no matter what truck it is, its fun to watch. We went on Sunday which was a day show and the last for them in the area so they really pushed the trucks hard. This made for great entertainment as parts of the trucks were flying everywhere and they were flipping and rolling all over the place. I’m not going to lie I think it was the best show Ive seen so far and we go every year if not twice.

The only complaints I have was that it was a really hot day and the refreshments weren’t that cold nor were the concession stands stocked very well with items or employees. After standing in the snowcone line for 30 minutes, there was one person working and as we are finally 3 people to checking out, they ran out of cups and they told us to come back later. Ummm I just stood here for 30 minutes and you think I’m coming back....uhh no! The only other complaint was that employees had no clue about the seating, we asked 3 different people how to get to our seats and each one had us go to a different spot. I finally figured it out on my own. They had us going up and down, literally clueless. But other than that it was great. Everyone was super friendly and kind.

So overall it was a great family outing and we had a great time. Im not sure how the event is everywhere but at The Camping World Arena it was perfect.
